veterans day...
The 11th month of the 11th day of the 11th hour..
^ ^...But lets not talk about that war <.>
I wanna talk about...
Vietnam :D?!
I wanna talk about to yanks over in the states and
their involvement in the war too...
why?
because :D its an American holiday drr
But none the less…American or not its something to
update about -.-
May - President Johnson's aides begin work on a
Congressional resolution supporting the President's
war policy in Vietnam. The resolution is shelved
temporarily due to lack of support in the Senate, but
will later be used as the basis of the Gulf of Tonkin
resolution.
Tonkin. There was no Tonkin sinking. The whole thing
was a fake being used as a tool for the government to
pull the country out to war.
Seeing as they were already out there one may say that
it does not seem to be something of great importance
that the government lied to the people to bring them to
war but it is!
Because history, when not corrected, leaves room for
repeats.
People like repeats you know...
Like whenever you go to watch tv at night when you
can't seem to fall asleep..you get to watch those
reruns of all those shows you've seen 50 BILLION times
before...but they still make you laugh
But in history, reruns of problems, of lying govn.t is
no laughing matter
Ignorance at its finest people!
you let the bastards get away with it...and what
happened..
WELL
lets talk more recently...ohhh lets say...Operation
Iraq Liberation
and...uhhmmmm "weapons of mass destruction" -_-
Know whets funny now?
NOW...now the government is saying that they THINK the
Intelligence committee that said there were in fact
Weapons of mass destruction in Iraq was false...
Huh...what a concepts -.-
BUT! I don't live in America so I shouldn't really be
worried about it?
Why not be worried about it though >.< If it's
happening over there what isn't to stop it from
happening on our own soil...right here right where I'm
fucking standing up.
You know I went to go see a film this evening, and one
of the advertisements before the movie was talking
about a movie called "V for Vendetta" Which I really
think looks interesting and would like to see it when
it comes out
but they put it well
the people should not be afraid of the government. The
government should be afraid of the people
But perhaps a lack of fear on both parties has left
the U.S. in ruin..and whats more...lets not even
generalize it to the United States...lets say all
governments.
In this day and age; respect is a thing of the past
Christ himself said the golden rule was to treat
others as you wish to be treated, and if that held
true today I think everyone would be taking turns
stabbing one another in the heart!!
*sighs*
Things like this get to me..
Or maybe its not so much that-
Maybe...
it has something to do with the fact that I drank a
half a bottle of vodka and went to go sit down and
watch some of the telle and all that was on the news
was about the "AMAZING Parade for Veterans in New
York"
And what’s more..
they build up how great a government they have...like
its flawless
well
Everything has flaws, people either create their own,
or admit to the ones they already have, but
regardless...people have flaws.
And hee yeah...end "rant" :}
